Thank you from Ryde Secondary College

Dear Educate to Empower Team,
On behalf of Ryde Secondary College, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your recent grant supporting students facing financial pressures to participate in elite sporting opportunities.
Thanks to your generosity, two of our students were able to travel internationally to represent Australia in gymnastics, one student competed in Squash at a national level, and thirteen students are able to attend the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup in the Gold Coast in December. This support included assistance with travel, accommodation, training, and uniforms — barriers that would have otherwise limited their ability to pursue these exceptional opportunities.
The impact of this funding has been profound. Many of these students come from families where financial constraints make participation in high-level sport extremely difficult. Your contribution has not only alleviated this pressure, but has also enabled these young athletes to take part in experiences that will shape their confidence, identity, and future sporting pathways. For some, this has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, opening doors to further representative selections, scholarships, and continued involvement in sport at an elite level.
We believe strongly in the power of sport to build resilience, teamwork, leadership, and wellbeing. Your support has ensured that our students are not excluded from these benefits due to circumstances beyond their control. The pride these athletes felt representing our school and their country is immeasurable, and we are deeply grateful that Educate to Empower played such a vital role in making this possible.
Thank you once again for your generosity, vision, and commitment to supporting young people. We look forward to sharing future successes with you and hope to continue building opportunities for our students together.
Warm Regards
